Trinity and St. Paul's Communion Statement

We gladly believe, teach, and confess the Words of our Lord: that He gives into our mouths not only bread and wine, but His very Body and Blood for the forgiveness of our sins and the strengthening of our unity with Him and with one another.  Following the Holy Scriptures and the practice of the one holy, catholic (universal), and apostolic Church throughout history, this congregation offers Holy Communion to those who are members of a church body with which we are in altar fellowship, who confess the Faith confessed at this altar, and who live lives in keeping with that Faith.  For this reason, if you have not received Communion previously from this pastor, we ask you to speak with him prior to communing.  We want you to share this meal of Christian unity with us.  If you would like to know more about what we teach and believe so that you can join us at Christ's altar in the future, please speak to the pastor after the service or during the week.  Until then, we invite you to pray with us for the Day of the Lord, when all divisions will cease.
